Core Commitment: WallpaperIsle respects your privacy. No personal information is collected during browsing. Favorites, downloads, and search history are stored locally on your device only. AI recommendations and image analysis are computed entirely on-device.
1. Information Collection
WallpaperIsle follows the principle of minimal data collection:
- We do NOT collect personal identification information
- We do NOT require account registration or login
- We do NOT collect contacts, messages, or call logs
Information stored locally on your device:
- Favorites list: Wallpapers you've favorited
- AI generation history: Analyzed tags and similar search records
- AI preference data: Category/tag counts used for recommendations (stored locally, never uploaded)
- Search history: Recent search terms
- Image cache: Cached thumbnails for faster browsing

3. AI Features Privacy
WallpaperIsle includes two AI-powered features:
3.1 AI Smart Recommendations
- Tracks which categories and tags you browse and favorite — stored locally only
- Uses simple tag-count matching to recommend similar wallpapers
- No data is sent to external servers for analysis
- No machine learning models are used
3.2 AI Similar Wallpaper Discovery
- You select a wallpaper from within the app's collection
- AI analyzes the image entirely on your device to extract colors, style tags, and composition
- The analyzed tags are used to search for visually similar wallpapers from Unsplash / Pexels API
- No photos from your device are ever accessed or uploaded — analysis is performed only on app-hosted wallpaper images
4. Network Data Transmission
- Loading wallpapers: Fetching images from Unsplash / Pexels APIs
- AI similar search: Sending analyzed style tags as search queries to Unsplash / Pexels API
- Ad display: Google AdMob SDK
- Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase (anonymized)
- Crash reporting: Firebase Crashlytics
All transmissions use HTTPS encryption. We do not transmit personal identification information.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Google Analytics for Firebase
- Purpose: Anonymized usage statistics
- Data: Device model, OS version, usage frequency
- Privacy: Google Privacy Policy
5.2 Firebase Crashlytics
- Purpose: Crash reporting
- Data: Crash logs, device info
5.3 Google AdMob
- Purpose: Ad display
- Data: IDFA, device info, IP address

7. Children's Privacy
Suitable for all ages. No personal information collected from children under 13. No registration or social features.
8. Data Security
- All network communications use HTTPS/TLS
- App data in iOS sandbox, inaccessible to other apps
- No personal data stored on servers
9. Data Deletion
- Clear cache: In-app Settings > Clear Cache
- Delete app: Long-press icon > Delete App — removes all local data
